About Me
Hi, I'm Ginny. Welcome to Champagne Girlie!
I'm so glad you're here. 🥂
Welcome! I'm so happy you're here.
I'm the creator of Champagne Girlie—a community built on the belief that life doesn't end when one chapter closes. Sometimes, that's when the best chapter begins.
This website is a place for women who are ready to rediscover themselves, celebrate life's little moments, and remember that being fabulous has nothing to do with age or money. It has everything to do with choosing yourself.
Here you'll find journals, books, podcasts, travel inspiration, wellness ideas, practical tips, and honest conversations about rebuilding life after divorce, retirement, or any season of change. My hope is that every woman who visits leaves believing she is stronger than she ever imagined.
I grew up believing in love, loyalty, family, and commitment. At nineteen years old, I met the man I thought I would spend the rest of my life with, and in many ways, I did. We built a life together that lasted nearly 48 years. We raised two wonderful sons, built a home, worked hard, and created what I believed would last forever.
Like so many women of my generation, I spent most of my life taking care of everyone else first. I was a wife, a mother, a caretaker, and the person who held everything together. I believed that if you loved hard enough, worked hard enough, and stayed loyal enough, everything would work out.
But somewhere along the way, I slowly lost pieces of myself. The marriage I fought so hard for no longer felt like a partnership, and eventually, love faded into silence. Facing the end of a relationship that had been my entire adult life was one of the hardest things I have ever experienced.
After my divorce, I had to discover who I was outside of being someone's wife for almost five decades. For the first time in my life, I was living independently and creating a life that belonged completely to me.
What surprised me most was realizing that starting over did not mean my life was over. In many ways, it felt like my life was finally beginning.
Since my divorce, I've launched the Champagne Girlie brand, started writing and podcasting, focused on my health and wellness, traveled with my girlfriends, taken a Mexican cruise, spent summers in Michigan surrounded by family, and even learned to enjoy doing things on my own.
And here's the part I'm most proud of...
I'm doing all of this on a limited budget.
I want women to know you don't need a lot of money to create joy, freedom, confidence, or a beautiful life. Being fabulous doesn't have to be expensive. Some of my happiest moments are the simplest ones—laughing with friends, traveling, camping, spending time with family, decorating my own space, or waking up peacefully knowing I finally chose myself.
My story isn't about perfection. It's about resilience, reinvention, healing, and finding yourself again after heartbreak. I want every woman who visits Champagne Girlie to know that it is never too late to start over, dream bigger, travel, laugh, get healthy, build something new, or finally live life according to your own rules.
For me, it all comes down to one simple question...
Why not now?
Stay Fabulous🥂Stay Fearless
